Crews Fight Fire on Both Sides of Wasatch Blvd.

SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- Several people are safe in their homes Tuesday morning thanks to the quick reaction of crews on Unified Fire Authority.

Officials say around 11 p.m. Monday night a fire broke out near 4500 South Wasatch Boulevard.

By the time crews arrived they say there was a fire on both sides of the road. The fire on the left was about an acre, the right about a quarter of an acre.

UFA crews were able to get the fire out within 15 minutes and protect the homes in the area.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
