Build-A-Bear closes lines nationwide for Pay Your Age Day due to ‘unprecedented response’

An “unprecedented response” from customers on Pay Your Age Day has prompted Build-A-Bear to close lines at stores nationwide.

In a post on its website, the company said they were seeing “longer than expected lines and large crowds” for the event. Lines have been shutdown at stores for safety concerns, the company said in a separate post on Facebook.

There are three Build-A-Bear locations in Utah: Fashion Place in Murray, Station Park in Farmington, and University Place in Orem.
