WASHINGTON COUNTY (ABC4 News) – Multiple agencies responded after the discovery of a body in Zion National Park. 

According to St. George News, the body of a 68-year-old man was found on the West Rim Trail Tuesday afternoon.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office and park rangers recovered the body around 4:30 p.m.

The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are under investigation. The man’s identity has not yet been released.
