Bingham, Jordan win blowouts in baseball semifinals

OREM, Utah (ABC4 Sports) – Bingham High is rolling right now, and the Miners will play for the 6A baseball state title on Friday.

The Miners mercy-ruled American Fork, 13-2, behind 5 RBI from Camden Snarr and a dominating pitching performance by Peyton Jones. Derek Soffe had three hits and two runs scored as Bingham moved on to the championship game on Friday against Riverton. The Silverwolves will have to win twice to win the title.

In the 5A winners bracket game, Jordan took down Skyridge, 10-3. Connor Hughes hit a 3-run home run as part of a 5-run third inning. The Falcons committed three errors leading to four unearned runs for the Beetdiggers.

Jordan will play Olympus for the championship on Friday, but the Titans have to beat the Beetdiggers twice to win the title.
