HOT SPRINGS, AR – A local family in an ongoing dispute with the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS) has had another day in court.

A juvenile judge approved an agreement between DHS and the family of Hal and Michelle Stanley to allow the youngest four children to live with their parents for the next 60 days and their oldest three kids to stay with them during Spring break and the weekends.

DHS took state custody of the children in January after reports of child endanagerment.

They are expected to appear in court again May 13.
