Armed robber strikes again, police looking for suspect

News

MIDVALE, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- Police are looking for a suspect they say is connected to at least two armed robberies.

The latest robbery happened Tuesday morning around 1 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on 8000 South State St.

Police say the suspect jumped the counter and threatened the teller with a knife. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators say the suspect’s description was similar to a suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven last week (March 22nd) near 7000 South State. In both cases he used a knife.

He is described as a tall African American male wearing a hoodie with a bandana over his face.

This is surveillance video given to ABC4 from the robbery at 7000 South State. Police say they can’t confirm the suspect is the same guy for certain, but his description is very similar.

This is a developing story. ABC4 will post updates when they become available.
