WSYR – A 7-year-old Wisconsin girl fighting a brain tumor has one wish: she wants to receive happy letters from your dogs.

So far, Emma Mertens has received more than 50,000 letters from all over the world.

If you knew Emma, she’s the most kind, big-hearted girl,” the girl’s dad Geoff Mertens, of Wisconsin, told ABC’s Good Morning America. “To see so many people take a few minutes out of their day to put a smile on her face is overwhelming.”

Parents Geoff and Tammy Mertens said Emma loves dogs. Emma’s family doesn’t own a dog, but they often dog-sit for neighbors — something Emma enjoys.

To help her smile through treatments, family and friends sent Emma letters from their dogs. The request, which was initially made through Facebook Messenger, was moved to a P.O. Box and to an email account, where people as far as Scotland and Venezuela sent photos and messages from their canines, according to GMA.

If you’d like to send a letter to Emma from your dog, you can do so here:

A GoFundMe page has also been set up for Emma’s medical expenses.
