TeenChef Pro has recently won two Emmys (Best Educational Programming, Best Teen Programming) and six in total. Director and producers of the ABC4 show, Katy Sine and Jami Larsen, rolled into Utah with the new hardware.
The show helps teach and inspire ProStart students to develop a career in the restaurant industry.
Twelve teen chefs are chosen to be mentored by three professional Utah chefs on the show.
This new mentor chefs of season 4 are:
Jodie Rogers – Food and Beverage Director at Deer Valley Resort, and the first female mentor chef.
Justin Shifflett – of Stoneground Kitchen returning for his 3rd season on the series.
Tyler Stokes – of Provisions Restaurant.
‘You Be The Judge’ Season 4
As a viewer you get to try the dishes made by the Teen Pros at their mentor judge’s restaurant. The dishes will be featured at the local restaurants. (Judge Rodgers/Team Blue – Deer Valley Resort; Judge Stokes/Green Team – Provisions; Judge Shifflett/Red Team – Stoneground Kitchen)
The winner of TeenChef Pro gets a four-year scholarship to Johnson & Wales University. TeenChef Pro will be in it’s fourth season and will be premiering October 14, 2018 on Sunday mornings on ABC4 at 9:30am.
