Representative of Prevent Child Abuse Utah and Member of the Utah House of Representatives, Angela Romero, is working with the Utah legislature to train school faculty to be part of the prevention of child abuse.

Legislation was passed in 2014 that increased education about the issue and this year Romero and legislators are crafting a mandate to ensure school personnel have the proper training to notice the signs of child abuse.
