The American International School of Utah’s AISU Virtual is a blended online and on-campus program to promote a K-12 School in Murray, Utah. This allows students to work at their own speed online as well as on-campus. Core classes in English Language Arts, Social Studies and Science are taken online throughout the year at student’s own pace. All other courses, including mathematics and electives, may be taken online throughout the year or taken on-campus following AISU’s trimester schedule.
Students participate in two week learning Intensives. Three times a year (fall, winter and spring), AISU students can enroll in a hands-on interactive learning experiences, earning 0.5 credit each intensive. Students choose from 30-40 courses designed by AISU teachers and guest instructors that fulfill most elective requirements. Student success through Learning Center support.
The AISU Learning Center provides support for students both remotely and face-to-face. Students can attend as often as needed. Learning Center teachers monitor course progress and advise students on the best strategy for successful course completion.
The AISU Math Lab provides both mini-lessons and an extended tutorial support to help students complete core requirements.
Lastly, AISU offers a variety of extra-curricular programs from athletics to award winning performance programs in drama, music and dance. They also have clubs ranging from robotics to studio art. AISU Learning Center teachers form a true partnership with students/parents for better learning outcomes.
