• On Good Things Utah this morning – Let’s talk Pop Tarts! Podcast hosts Joe Santagato and Frank Alvarez seem to be pretty passionate about toaster pastries. The best part about friendship is — arguably — the healthy arguments you can have. On Oct. 7, TikTok user @ashley_tropea shared a clip from a well-known podcast that will remind you of the all-too-familiar heated-but-loving-type of arguments you’ve likely had with close friends. Except for this war of words wasn’t about politics, religion or any other typically divisive, potentially Thanksgiving-ruining topic — it was about something we can all relate to: snack food. “It’s the build on this one,” said @ashley_tropea in her TikTok, which has gone very viral, garnering a staggering 15.8 million views and 3.7 million likes. The post has gone viral elsewhere on the internet as well, with a post on Twitter sharing the same clip garnering a further 1.2 million views.
  • Plus, in this week’s intention video, Oprah talked about the importance of knowing when it’s time to move on. For her, she says it’s always been a feeling that comes from deep within. “Whether it was a personal relationship or career-related, it always felt like: My work here is done, I can’t grow anymore, time to go.” As always, Oprah wanted to hear your thoughts on the subject. Specifically, she asked Insiders to share the signs and whispers that let you know it’s time to move on. Here, some standout comments with advice so good, it just has to be shared!
    • Listen to Your Gut
      • “Last year, I decided to listen to my body and resigned from my 15 year position. The next day my gut pain stopped. In two words I can sum up everything I learned that day: Trust yourself.”
    • There Are No Coincidences
      • “I believe the universe gives us signs in the synchronicities of life to show us the way. This is something that I have been mulling over for quite some time and as I sat here debating what I should do, this email appeared in my inbox. Some might dismiss it as mere coincidence, but I know it is a sign—and not the only sign I have been given. Perhaps it’s time I listened.”
  • At the end of the show – Just like your outfit can reflect your mood, so can your nails, and that’s certainly the case when it comes to aura nails. Aura-inspired manicures are vibrant, colorful, gradient-filled nails that are popping up all over social media. For the last few months, the trend has gained more than 12.5 million views on TikTok and has been tagged more than 11,000 times on Instagram. Hope you tune in to these Hot Topics and so much more this morning on GTU Hour 2.
