Steak marinade and grilled peaches with cinnamon bark butter

She also taught us how to use doTerra oils to make a delicious steak marinade and savory grilled peaches.

Italian Herb Steak Marinade


1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons fresh garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried red chili pepper flakes
4 drops doTERRA Basil oil
4 drops doTERRA Oregano oil
4 drops doTERRA Rosemary Oil
2 drops doTERRA Thyme Oil
Yields: Enough marinade for a one to two pound steak


Mix all ingredients together and pour over steak in a shallow glass bowl or baking pan.
Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour before grilling.
Discard marinade after use.

Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon Bark Butter


1 stick unsalted butter, at room temp
1 drop doTERRA cinnamon bark oil
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
pinch salt
4 ripe peaches, halved and pitted
canola oil spray
mint leaves for garnish


In a small bowl, add the butter and stir until smooth. Add the cinnamon bark oil, granulated sugar and salt and mix until combined.
Heat grill to high. Brush peaches with oil and grill until golden brown and just cooked through, 3-4 minutes.
Top each peach with a few teaspoons of the butter and garnish with mint leaves.
