Remembering basketball great Kobe Bryant

Good Things Utah
  • On Good Things Utah today – Fans of Kobe Bryant around the world are mourning the loss of the basketball great in a helicopter crash over the weekend. We look at the well wishes pouring in from celebrities and good friends. Grammy’s host Alicia Keys started music’s biggest night with a tribute to Bryant and set the mood for the rest of the show which honored Billie Eilish as the breakout star for 2019. And our GTU hosts visited the Sundance Film Festival over the weekend – stopping by the Ecoluxe Lounge to do interviews and check out the products that celebrities receive in their sweet swag bags. Hillary Clinton was in town doing interviews about a project she’s working on with Hulu and our own Sundance Lisa took pictures with dozens of celebrities on Main Street. We’ll show you who she grabbed on camera. (hint: Mila Kunis)
  • And at the end of the show, the new Miss Utah USA will be the first openly bisexual contestant to compete for the Miss USA crown. We’ll tell you why she says it’s important not to be defined by her sexuality. And happy National Bubble Wrap day! Brian has a scientific explanation for why we just can’t stop popping. Hope you join us this morning for a busy GTU.
