Losing your child in a public area can be scary, even if it’s only for a second. Spencer Behrend knows — it happened to him at Provo’s 4th of July parade in 2013. After trying all of the options on the market to help, Spencer started working on his own solution. He teamed up with Jordan Baczkuk to make it happen. The pair came up with MyKid Pod. The product is a wearable tracker for your children. They say the product keeps families safe, connected and active.
MyKid Pod is a Bluetooh powered band that can be used anytime and anywhere. The range of the device is between 10 – 200 feet. This gives a safe range without allowing your child to get too far away. The MyKid Pod has a panic button on the band itself. This allows the child to alert you through your phone if they feel uneasy or lost. When you need to find your child, an alarm sounds on their band making them easy to locate.
