Macadamia Nut Bread and Blueberry Jam

Kacey Tess gave us an easy way to warm up our homes this fall, by making a hearty nut bread topped with an all natural blueberry jam.

Macadamia Nut Bread:
  • 1 1/2 C steel cut oats
  • 1 C roasted unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 1 C golden flax seeds
  • 1/4 C sliced almonds
  • 1/4 C macadamia nuts roughly chopped
  • 1/4 chia seeds
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 Tbsp agave nectar
  • 2 Tbsp oil ( I use coconut)
  • 1 1/2 C water
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  1. In a large bowl combine all ingredients thoroughly
  2. Add agave and oil, and combine
  3. Add water and combine
  4. Let “dough” set up for 1-2 hours
  5. Pre-heat oven to 350
  6. Add almond extract and stir
  7. Spoon mixture into a greased loaf pan
  8. Bake for 30 minutes
  9. Remove from oven, flip pan upside down on a cooling rack to get loaf out then place back in oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown
  10. Remove from oven and let cool
  11. Place bread in plastic bag to store up to one week
