Exercise routines should never be boring. Forget the typical treadmill, elliptical and weights routines. We are all about trying new workouts like this circus fitness.  Michelle stopped at Aerobatics Gym for a fun, wacky workout full of aerial silks, trampolines, and aerial yoga.
 
Fitness should always be fun. Find something you enjoy doing and go for it. You are most likely to achieve your fitness goals when you are having fun getting there. It’s easier to be consistent & motivated when you are enjoying your workout.
 
The Aerobatics Gym offers a variety of alternative fitness classes that are fun including aerial silks, trampoline, trapeze, aerial yoga, HIGH fitness, active flexibility, aerial hoop, teeterboard, TRX, handstands and more.
 
Many of the students from the gym come from a variety of backgrounds and fitness levels. Some used to be dancers and gymnasts and they love being able to bring back out their skills from the past. Others have never done anything like this in their life, but love seeing what they are capable of doing.
 
The instructors at the gym will often hear, “Oh, I can’t do that.” “I don’t have any upper body strength.” This is the place to come to get that upper body strength you’ve been wanting.
 
Circus fitness is a great cardio and full body strength training workout. It strengthens your core, and increases flexibility, balance, coordination and self-esteem. With the variety of classes, there is something for everyone.
There are classes for kids and teens. These classes are a great way for kids to be active and healthy, while having fun and developing skills.
 
 All of the students, young and old, get multiple performance opportunities through out the year. The next show, Salt City Big Top will be on May 14th at 7:00 pm at the Olympic Oval. They will also be putting on a Pirate show in August and the Nutcracker-Cirque Style in December. for more information or contact them at
