Dr. Joshua Redd, Chiropractic Physician and also has a masters in Human Nutrition, was in studio to talk about the symptoms of low thyroid and living with this condition. He shared how it can get better!

Katrina McCarthy joined Dr. Redd to speak out about living with low thyroid and the ups and downs she has gone through.

McCarthy has been treated at Red River Health & Wellness and says it has changed her life.  She explained that before she went to Red River she experienced depression and inflammation.

“I am usually a happy and goofy person with lots of dry humor,” said McCarthy. ” I did not want to get out of bed, I did not want to get ready and I did not want to see anyone.”

Having a low throid can result in feeling fatigued, dry skin. weight gain, muscle weakness and more.

‘This disease took my light,” said McCarthy.

That was until she took her future into her hands and visited Dr. Redd at Red River Health and Wellness. Her life has changed for the better and although the struggle is still real, she now knows what to look out for and go on with her life.

“It’s so much easier to get out of bed and enjoy my day,” said McCarthy. “I know what to look out for now and how to be me.
