Rebecca Virgo, Parents as Teachers Program Administrator of Prevent Child Abuse Utah (PCAU), shows you signs to watch out for if your child is being groomed by a sexual predator as well as ways to educate and engage your kids in safety strategies so that they will feel empowered to report abuse when it is happening to them or someone they know.

PCAU school programs are free and taught within the classroom with visual aids, videos, and other interactive activities, such as, role playing. Parents as Teachers is a free, evidence-based national home visitation program that provides mothers, fathers and pregnant women with the education and support they need through the first five years of their child’s life. They believe that all families want what is best for their children.Their mission is to prevent the abuse and neglect of the nation’s children. Recognizing that when not every child has equal opportunity for healthy growth and development, our future as a society at risk.
