If you have natural curls or frizz, you can learn to embrace them with the help of stylist Cassie Dean. Note: this isn’t for those with pin straight hair.

Usually, we fight the frizz with heat, but this is damaging to your hair. By using minimal heat styling, you help your hair health and over time your hair can be transformed and you save time.

This is a styling-only, zero commitment way to change your look and you’ll end up with wavy to very curly hair, depending on how much natural curl you have.

Here’s what you need to achieve the look:

  • A wide tooth comb
  • Thin cotton towel or an old cotton t-shirt
  • Product with hold, cream, gel or mousse depending on your texture, blow dryer with diffuser or air dry
