Kimberly Dansie, Vice President of Business Development at Community Nursing Service and Chef Eric Heath from Martine joined us today to make a creamy cauliflower soup recipe.
Community Nursing Services (CNS) is celebrating their 90th anniversary of serving the Community. To support patients needing charitable care, they are hosting our annual Celebration of Art & Soup March 21 & 22nd at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Art & Soup is an important event for CNS with all proceeds supporting the delivery of charitable home health, hospice and immunization services to Utahns in need.
There will be 27 participating restaurants generously donate their soup and other culinary delights, including 50 local artists kindly donate 30% of their sales to the CNS Charitable Care Program.
Martin Blundell will be the featured artist for the event.
The session times will take place on March 21 and 22 from 11:00 am-2:00 pm and 5:00 pm-9:00 pm. Select artists will have an hour to paint their work that will be auctioned off during the Quick Draw auctions during each sessions. Also,
Also, celebrity soup judges will sample the soups and awards will be given at the end of the event; attendees can cast their votes for their favorite soups as well.
Event tickets will be available at the door or in advance online for $20.00. There are no discounts included. To mention art and soup, parking will be at the Salt Palace for $5.00
