Thanksgiving Point has become a very well known spot for entertainment, from it’s venues like the Museum of Natural Curiosity to the Museum of Ancient Life to now the new opening of the Butterfly Biosphere.
The former Emporium building is now a new home to over 1,000 butterflies opening Jan. 18.
“The Butterfly Biosphere is unlike any other experience in Utah,” said Mike L Washburn, Thanksgiving Point President and CEO.
This biosphere is over 33,000 sqare ft. and includes a multitude of different species of insects.
“The Butterfly Biosphere will explore the small, but significant world of insects and create lifelong learning and memories in the process,” said Washburn.
Also included are some of the new experiences like the Costa Rica climber, discovery zone, invertebrate adventures and education classrooms and exhibits.
