The male consumer has often been an after thought in the beauty industry, but in recent years, there has been a rise in hairdressers, hair salons, and barbershops that cater to them.
While men tend to use fewer hair products than the average woman, they will spend more money for quality and visit the their salon or barbershop more often, changing their routines and habits less often, making them a highly sought after clientele.

Trendy barber shops have been popping up all over Utah in the last few years, reversing several decades of decline from the 1970’s to the early 2000’s.
Matthew explained that the modern barbershop caters to the modern man, an oasis filled with more masculine touches than your average salon.
