Anne Boulter, owner of Private Detox of Utah stopped by the Good Things Utah studio. She talked about how Private detox of Utah is the only medical detox service for drugs and alcohol that is done privacy and comfort of their own home or other safe environment.

“Detox from drugs and alcohol is very uncomfortable physically, mentally and emotionally,” says Anne. “What most people don’t know is the the majority of recovery programs and centers are not involved in the detox process. People are referred to a hospital or Detox center.”

Private Detox of Utah helps make detox a little easier it will help more people start on their road to recovery.

According to Anne, the person is already nervous about their withdrawal symptoms and then they are told they need to leave home for a week and go somewhere unfamiliar and oftentimes uninviting. This is overwhelming for a lot of people. You have to remember that addicts and alcoholics are everyday people. They have family, jobs and responsibilities.

Anne’s goal is to make sure her patients are really treated with care and respect. “We want them to be successful and will do our best to assist them on their journey.”
