Gourmet Butter: Harissa and Blackberry + Thyme

Today, Chef Trent Campbell of Shylo’s Mobile Café demos few of these simple and on-trend gourmet butter recipes, showing how these butters can be paired simply with your favorite Thomas’ English Muffin variety. Because let’s be honest, the signature Nooks and Crannies texture of the English Muffin was practically made for creating pools of melted buttery goodness!

Harissa –

The spicy heat from this gourmet butter pairs well with the sweetness of Thomas’ Honey Wheat English Muffins.

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1/2 cup harissa paste
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  1. Combine ingredients
  2. Transfer to plastic wrap
  3. Roll out and twist both ends
  4. Refrigerate for 2 hours

Blackberry & Thyme

– Treat yourself to the taste of dessert with this sweet and delicious gourmet butter on a Thomas’ Cinnamon Raisin English Muffin.

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 3 tablespoons blackberry preserves
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, finely chopped
  1. Combine ingredients
  2. Transfer to plastic wrap
  3. Roll out and twist both ends
  4. Refrigerate for 2 hours
