Jennie Carlson, instructor at Goat Yoga Utah explained why it’s a growing trend, and how goats can actually help improve people’s yoga experience.
Both Yoga and Goats separately have been and are currently used as therapy for so many ailments. So, combining them makes for a fun, loving, heart filling time.
They have 7 goats that participate in the Goat Yoga classes. Breeds such as Pygmy, Nigerian Dwarf, Myotonic (Fainter), Mini Nubian, and Mini Nubian/Pygmy.
Their names are Rock (Pygmy), Rose (Pygmy), Vivian (Nigerian Dwarf), Levi (Myotonic), JuneBug (Mini Nubian), Glorious (Mini Nubian/Pygmy) and Sugar (Mini Nubian/Pygmy)
Goat Yoga Utah isn’t just a Goat Yoga experience. It is a Farm experience.
The yoga studio is on their 14 acre farm in West Point Utah. The Studio is a fenced in/dimly lit studio, that shares outside space with the rest of the animals.
