Ever found yourself being drawn to deep violet in your hair, clothes, lipstick? There might be a reason!

Julie Yearsley, from Social Core, says you may be in need of some meditative time spent serving yourself and others, away from the stresses of life. “Inviting this color also opens us up to meditative thoughts,” says Yearsley.

According to Yearsley, deep Violet is a spiritual color, connecting us to our higher power and selflessness. Meditative, soothing and relaxing, the energy of deep violet helps us move away from being overly analytical and instead focusing on our spirit.

“This color can help us build trust with others and to our own spiritual self,” says Yearlsey. “It guides a higher consciousness when we seek it. Deep violet can also build our own sense of selflessness and service to others.”

Remember, we are drawn to different colors every day in many ways – through sight, taste and smell – to address what’s happening in emotionally, mentally and physically. We take in the energy of the colors
