Take a ghost tour through Provo

Derek Jacobs, Founder/Tour Manager from Pedal Provo Ghost Tour shares why their tours are great for anyone, and why they’re just so much fun.

The first Pedal Provo Ghost Tour was in June of 2016. It was started because Derek wanted to enhance the Provo nightlife and run something that could give the people of Provo a unique thing to do on the weekends.

They strive to create one of the most unique date nights by combining two things almost everyone loves, bikes and ghosts. The tour is every Friday and Saturday from 9:00-11:00 PM starting in March and ending in November.

No level of fitness or athleticism is needed to come on the tour. They ride at a walking pace and it’s actually easier than walking. The routes are very flat and easy for even the most inexperienced riders. A lot of people come on the tour and tell them that they haven’t ridden in 10 years and they do just fine. It’s like riding a bike!

All of the ghost stories that they tell are historical and have been experienced by many people. They offer two routes. One starts at the Provo Cemetery and goes around the city of Provo. The other one starts at Exchange Park and goes down the Provo River Trail towards Utah Lake.
