I have wanted to be a singer my entire life. I pursued this dream for a while but when I had children I felt I needed to focus more on family and raising them. Truthfully I thought that I had lost my opportunity at a recording career. Because I have 3 children and created performing groups so that they could learn to sing and perform. Once my children were all in school I returned to school and finished my Bachelor and Master Degrees in Vocal Performance. It was such a gift to be able to study and focus on my own music again, but I don’t regret for a second the years of teaching in my private voice studio and helping hundreds of students follow their dreams. I am so very grateful to all of the wonderful people who have believed in and supported me through all these years. My husband Phil is my constant rock and when I want to quit and throw in the towel he makes me get up and try again.
I love to sing a variety of styles of music: Opera, Jazz, Broadway, Pop but my favorite is Christmas and Christian.
In my Christian music I try to bring together different faiths and races in an effort to show that we have more similarities than differences. I really do believe that is the key to a happier world, seeing the good in each other and the similar hopes, dreams and faith that we have.
