Lifestyle and entertainment expert, Mandy Landefeld, is the powerhouse behind the Sumptuous Living brand. She is here to talk about her recipes, lifestyle and decorating tips.

For Thanksgiving, be sure to set the table one week in advance with classic white linens and a rustic dough bowl filled with pumpkins, cotton sprays and bay leaves for a modern and stunning centerpiece. Be sure to purchase high quality artificial versions of these items. That way, they won’t go bad before Thanksgiving rolls around.

Always keep some of the traditional family recipes on the menu while trying out some new recipes. Plus, you can always prepared food days in advance and stick in the freezer. If you can’t do that with something on your menu, then it has no business being a part of the meal.

If guests offer to bring something, let them do it! Also, guests often want to help out in the kitchen and having too many bodies in the kitchen can be a nuisance. Be prepared with a list of small duties for guest to do to keep them out of the kitchen.

Mandy’s 12-year career as a designer, decorator and countless guest chef demonstrations enable her to tackle interior design, cooking and cocktail appearances, and travel guides to make everyday a little easier.

Sumptuous Living isn’t about being fancy or perfect; it’s about always wearing a smile no matter what the day brings. It also encourages everyone to make their lives better by eating incredible food and making every trip outside the home unforgettable.
