Thousands will be cooking out today and enjoying a good BBQ with family and friends, but nutritionist Trish Brimhall says it’s time to think outside of the ‘burger box.’ She shared a couple healthier alternatives to that of a traditional hamburger and hotdog. 

With the pork tenderloin being one option, you can mix up your presentation by putting them on skewers and adding veggies to it as well. 

As far as that big table next to the grill that holds all the food… two hours is the max amount of time Trish suggests it should be out. She also mentioned to make sure you are paying attention to cross contamination.
