Be a blushing bride, glammed with makeup with the help of Utah wedding photographer and makeup artist Jessica Casperson!.
She brought two models on Good Things Utah to demonstrate a more glamorous look on one and a more natural look on the other.
With the natural look she showed how to take your everyday makeup and then dress it up just enough for pictures. She says to deepen the contour, add more blush, and finish it off with some copper and gold eye shadow with a neutral pink lip. On the more glamorous look she used a deep lip color for the dramatic affect. She also used more, and darker eyeshadows. Both looks are beautiful, but give brides options for how they want to look on their big day.
She had a lot of great tips! One of them being how you need to apply 30% more makeup for pictures then you do for everyday wear. She also encourages you to highlight and contour your face and how it can make such a difference with pictures.
According to Jessica false lashes are a must for photos! She loves Ardell whispie lashes and Red Aspen lashes. For lipstick she recommends Maybelline super stay matte especially for brides so your groom doesn’t end up wearing your lipstick too. And then of course Maskara makeup. Jessica is an artist for Maskara and does makeovers with their products as well as sales them. She used her Maskara pallet for everything from eyeliner, bronzer, contour, highlighter, foundation, blush, eyeshadow, lips, and more! Lastly, to finish it off she recommends using a setting powder. She loves Laura Mercier translucent powder or for a lower price option Airspun loose face powder.
Right now Jessica is offering a promotion where if you book her for your wedding she will do your makeup for bridals for free and set you up with the makeup she used on your face.
