Fans of Louisa May Alcott’s timeless classic ‘Little Women’ are going to love this first-ever modern retelling of the story.
Writer/director Clare Niederpruem and co-screenwriter Kristi Shimek joined us to share details about the movie which hits theaters September 28.
‘Little Women’ is a celebration of the female voice and the bond of sister hood. It will be the 150th anniversary since the original published in 1868. The modern version helps new generations to dream with their moms, sisters and friends. From little girls playing to women living with purpose the March sisters are committed to supporting each other.
‘Little Women’ stars Lea Thompson from ‘Back To The Future’ as well as Sarah Davenport as “JO”, Melanie Stone as “Meg”, Taylor Murphy as “Amy”, and Allie Jennings as “Beth.” The show also includes Ian Bohn from ‘Teen Wolf’ as “Freddy,” Lucas Grabeel from High School Musical and Family Guy as “Laurie,” and Bart Johnshon also from ‘High School Musical’ as “Papa March.”
It’s a timeless tale that you are going to want to see time and time again.
