Brian stopped by the Modern Display warehouse to get a behind the scenes look and sneak peek at some of the floats you might see in your city’s parade today!
Dan, from Modern Display, explained how a float is built from start to finish. It all starts with a car from the internet, typically a Mercury Grand Marquis or a Ford Crown Victoria because they have steel frames that builders can weld too. After that, it is sheeted in wood which becomes the base for the float and of course… the rest is left up to the imagination!
We hope you all enjoyed this sneak peek of Utah floats and take a new appreciation for all the work that goes into building them.
