Kika Vila-Nova from Weekend Adventurer sat down with us to discuss the different locations that are kid friendly hiking trails and areas during each season in Utah.

Select locations are as listed:

  • Utah County: Battle Creek Falls in Pleasant Grove, 1.2 miles out and back. Also pet friendly and very scenic this time of year.
  • Sandy: Bell Canyon Reservoir through Little Cottonwood Canyon, 1.3 miles out and back. Ducks, squirrels, butterflies.
  • Salt Lake City: Donut Falls through Big Cottonwood Canyon, 1.5 miles out and back. Add 1 mile total in the winter due to parking.
