What is an Advocate?
An Advocate seeks to ensure that people have their voice heard on issues that are important to them. To defend and safeguard their rights and have their wishes considered when decisions are being made about their lives. As Personal Injury attorneys, The Advocates stand up to insurance companies to get the best possible resolution on our client’s injury claim. With the Community Advocate program, they wanted to highlight those members of our community that go the extra mile to make our cities a better place to live for everyone.
If I am in an accident, why would I call an attorney for help?
The Advocates know that when you are injured you have one chance to recover the damages; if you agree to settle with the insurance company too early, you risk not getting what you actually deserve. They discuss their clients’ needs together and advocate for them while they heal from their injuries. As injury attorneys, they know the insurance game inside and out. Because this is all they do, they know what the value of your claim is worth. It costs you nothing to hire them until they win your case. You will never owe them anything out of pocket and they don’t get paid until you get paid.
The Advocates at Driggs, Bills & Day want to shine the spotlight on people throughout Utah who have gone the extra mile to do the right thing. Whether these people have saved the lives of others, helped those in financial need, or simply acted as a friend for someone who needed to be cared for, the Advocates would like to hear from you. Do you know a person who has helped someone in need?
If you have, please fill out the form to nominate a good Samaritan you know. The most generous nominee will be selected and announced on Good Things Utah weekly. Each month, a new winner will be featured on Good Things Utah as a recognition for their service.
