Nicea ventured upstairs in the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium to check out their new Expedition: Asia exhibit with Kristy. They took a look at three Asian Small Clawed Otters who are brothers. The boys came from the San Antonio Texas zoo. The Asian Small Clawed Otters are a very family-oriented species that spend most of their time in groups compared to other otter species. They also spend more time on land than other otters do.

Nicea also paid a visit to the Clouded Leopard which are particularly found in Southeast Asia. They also have the largest canines of any cat compared to their size and is the only living relative to the Saber-toothed cat.

There are many more animals you can see for yourself including the Oriental Pied Hornbill and Binturongs. Visit thelivingplanet.com/essential_grid/expedition-asia/ for more information.
