How you can discover your family history

There’s still time to register for RootsTech 2019, a conference happening February 27 to March 2 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City.

Drawing its 26,000 attendees from all 50 states and 40 different countries, RootsTech is the world's largest family history conference and the best place to learn about family history. There’s something for everyone regardless of familiarity with family history.

RootsTech brings together both traditional genealogy techniques and the technology that is currently advancing the industry, including DNA testing, mobile apps, and digital preservation tools.

The conference will feature over 300 classes about family history, DNA, and preserving family memories, as well as 200 exhibitors showcasing the technology and innovation in the family history industry.

Notable keynote speakers include actress Patricia Heaton, ukulele musician Jake Shimabukuro, author Saroo Brierley, and ballroom dancer Derek Hough.

Passes for RootsTech start at $99. For those unable to attend in person, the RootsTech Virtual Pass is available for $129 and includes 18 recorded sessions from the conference.

RootsTech is offering a special TV discount. Use promo code '19TV' to save 10% on your registration.

A select number of sessions, including the general sessions, will be streamed live on the RootsTech homepage.
