Super Blood Wolf Moon lights up the night’s sky

1/21/2019 – The appearance of the Super Blood Wolf Moon Sunday night had people looking to the skies to catch the rare sight.

The Super Blood Wolf Moon occurs when the total lunar eclipse and the supermoon happen at the same time.

As the full moon comes into the Earth’s shadow, it darkens and the sunlight that passes through the atmosphere of the earth makes the moon appear red.

The shade of red is dependent on the weather conditions.

The United States will not see another total lunar eclipse until the year 2020.
