WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) — A woman driving a stolen car led police on a chase early Thursday morning, prompting a search for a man known to police as a white supremacist.
According to the Unified Police Department, an officer in an unmarked police vehicle noticed a stolen car and attempted to pull the driver over.
The suspect led officers on a chase that ended near 3200 West 3500 South in West Valley City where police spiked the stolen vehicle’s tires. Police said the female driver and male passenger fled on foot.

A containment was setup while K9 officers and police from multiple agencies searched the area for the two suspects. Shortly after, police said the woman was located in the backyard of a home while the male suspect who officers identified as 44-year-od James Carter was not found.

Carter who policed describe as a “white supremacist gang member” is considered armed and dangerous.
The female suspect, identified as 33-year-old Jaclyn Allred, was arrested for felony fleeing and according to police has an extensive criminal record.
