New decontamination method for boats could help rid Utah of invasive species

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – Utah’s fishing season is fast approaching, and the Division of Wildlife Resources is working to get rid of pesky invasive species.

A new boat decontamination method could save the state millions of dollars on removing quagga mussels from boats.

Nathan Owens with the Division of Wildlife Resources joined Good Morning Utah to discuss a new dip tank method.
