Mental health care is available for people impacted by crises

Good Morning Utah

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – Many Utahns have been impacted by disasters this summer, including people in Summit County who were evacuated from their homes this week due to the Parleys Canyon Fire.

The Red Cross is helping people during and after crises with free mental health care.

Michael Smauldon, the executive director of the Northern Utah and Southwest Wyoming chapter of the Red Cross, and Michael Johnson, the lead disaster mental health volunteer for the Red Cross, both joined Good Morning Utah to talk about mental health care.
