How the new SLC International Airport is preparing for a surge in summer travel

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – As summer approaches, the Salt Lake City International Airport is gearing up for a surge in travelers.

The new airport opened up in the middle of the pandemic, so now as restrictions ease across the country, more people plan to travel through the new airport.

Bill Wyatt, the director of SLC International Airport, joined Good Morning Utah to talk about what travelers can expect.
