SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – The Taliban takeover in Afghanistan has thousands of people desperately trying to flee the country. That massive outflow of people is creating what some people call a refugee crisis.

Natalie El-Deiry, the executive director of the International Rescue Committee in Salt Lake City, joined Good Morning Utah to talk about how the crisis overseas is hurting Afghans and Americans, especially women and children.
