The Hearing Loss Association of America’s (HLAA) national convention is being held in Salt Lake City this year. It’s happening at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City on June 22-25.
“We invite locals who are hard of hearing to participate in the convention to learn more about the resources available to them,” said Marilyn Call, assistant director of the Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at the Utah Department of Workforce Services. “We have so much technology and resources available in today’s world that we want to make sure every individual experiencing hearing loss is taking advantage of them.”
People who attend can join in on workshops that cover topics like hearing looks, cochlear implants, hearing aids, and beyond.
