SLUG Magazine is celebrating local beer for the 10th year in a row with an issues dedicated to the craft beer scene in Utah. Angela Brown, Edie Trott, and Steve Mills from Slug on Tap joined Good Morning Utah to talk about the episode.
To celebrate their 10th Annual Local Beer Issue, SLUG Magazine will be putting on a craft beer festival called SLUG Mag On Tap, featuring 100 percent Utah-brewed beer. A portion of the festival proceeds will go the Utah Brewers’ Guild. The event will also present local food vendors such as Lucky Slice Pizza, Cup Bop Korean BBQ, Silver Moon Taqueria, Rob’s Cheesesteak’s, Argentina’s Best Empanadas and ice cream from PJK Creamery.
The Utah Brewers Guild will be kicking off their Beer Enthusiast Membership at SLUG Mag On Tap. For $25, attendees will be able to get a Utah Brewers’ Guild hat, exclusive sneak peeks at upcoming brews and brew-news from the Guild.
