Kids these days have some powerful technology in the palms of their hands thanks to smartphones.
Canyons School District is encouraging students to take that technology and show their artistic side. Katie Blunt, an education technology specialist at Canyons, joins Good Morning Utah to talk about how they are encouraging the students.
The films made by students will be screened at the Jordan Commons Megaplex Theater on Monday, April 15 at 6 p.m. as part of Canyons District’s 10th annual Film Festival. The public is invited and tickets are free.
