Apple computer found three decades later, still in working condition

Good Morning Utah

NEW YORK (ABC4 News) — A decades old Apple computer is discovered in a New York attic, still in working condition.

New York professor John Pfaff found the 30-year-old Apple IIe series computer in the attic of his parent’s home. When he turned it on, Pfaff was surprised to see that the old computer still worked. He found games, old homework assignments and a three-decade-old letter from his dad who passed away last year. Pfaff posted his find on Twitter which has since gone viral.

The Apple IIe series was released in 1983 with features like the ability to use both upper and lower case letters. In 1993, all models were discounted.
