SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News)- The pressures of giving gifts this time of year can be really stressful, but an organization is doing their part to relieve the stress.
For 19 years a holiday story called Candy Cane Corner has provided the opportunity for low-income families and people participating in programs at the YWCA Utah, Road Home, and Volunteers of America to select holiday gifts for their families.
The store opens the first week of December through the Christmas holiday.
They rely on community and generous supporters, like you, to help them stock Candy Cane Corner shelves with items for our families to choose from.
Right now CCC is in need of donations including new coats, new men’s pants, new women’s leggings, new adult underwear, and new men/women’s shoes for this year’s holiday store.
They also accept cash donations online at candycanecornerslc.org
New in-kind donations can be made by dropping by the holiday store at 340 West 200 South Monday – Friday 12 pm – 7 pm and Saturday – Sunday 12 pm – 5 pm.
