SALT LAKE COUNTY (ABC4) – After the Salt Lake County Council announced it won’t carry a mask mandate beyond the end of the statewide requirement, Salt Lake County Health Department’s executive director will discuss his recommendation.
Gary Edwards, Salt Lake County Health Department executive director and local health officer for Salt Lake County, recommended to the council to not extend the mask mandate.
He is expected to discuss the decision during a Wednesday press conference, which you can watch above starting at 2 p.m.
