Over 100,000 expected at Salt Lake Comic Con this year

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- The 5th Annual Salt Lake Comic Con kicked off Thursday.

Doors opened to the general public at 2 p.m. and close at 9 p.m.  The con will be here all weekend. Hours are Friday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Officials with Salt Lake Comic Con say they are expecting about 120,000 people to attend.

Celebrities like Elijah Wood, Stephen Amell, and Dick Van Dyke will be stopping by. Salt Lake Comic Con announced Wednesday Van Dyke would be alternating his appearance schedule. Due to health reasons, he will only be signing autographs during the convention. He will not being doing Photo Ops or participating in a panel.
